I'm just waiting for the booking link for the hotel. Once I get that, I will send out an email to each Class Year with the link for the reunion booking page. In case the email gets caught in spam filter, make sure you contact your friends, and check this site for the info.

Wow, I can't believe at this time next year we'll be in KL. I have updated this page to show a tentative schedule.
Sally Tait (Kretchmer) has been invaluable with her advice and looking into hotels. We will have more concrete info
on the hotel after February.

The official start date is Friday January 16th, but we will something for the early birds on Thursay. The reunion
runs through Friday January 23rd, but you can come as early/late and leave as early/late as you like.

Just to reiterate - anyone who attended the "old school", regardless of whether or not they graduated from ISKL
and regardless of their class year are invited to attend. Please bring your guests, friends, children, spouse, parents.

The basic idea is to have some group functions, which you can join in on or not, and some alternate functions if you choose not to. There would be plenty of free time even if you join in all the functions.

For non-arranged meals, we would choose a place to eat, where you could join others or not, and would pay for your own.

We would hire a bus (or buses, depending on the amount of people) for some of the tours. Train and mono-rail is a good form of transportation as well for those who choose alternate activities, such as shopping, or Port Dickson, or children's activities.

We would have a suite, which would be available from Day 0 through Day 7, for us to hang out in.

We might need some up front money to start booking things, but that will be as we get closer and start to figure out where we’re staying, how many buses we need to book, etc.

Here is the basic schedule, which again is subject to change:

Tourism KL: (Official site) I had a bit of trouble getting to this site at first, but keep trying. Once you get in, there are a bunch of boxes                      towards the top of the page you click on and it will take you to another page with more info.

Learn Malay: I downloaded this for free, but haven't played with it much yet. I'm not sure if they keep hounding you to purchase the deluxe                     version or not. My suggestion is that you set up an alternate free email account (yahoo, hotmail, etc.) and use that as your email                     address. They send you an email to download it, but you can download it immediately after you submit your email address. I saved it                 to my computer then installed it from there. It's got flash cards for greetings, at the hotel, at the restaurant, numbers, etc. I know               my Malay was pretty sketchy even back then, only knowing enough to tell the taxi to ikut kiri or ikut kanan. Oh, and bagus makan lah!

KL map: interactive, showing sights and hotels

KL hotels: I was thinking we should try to book a hotel near the old part of town that we are familiar with, close to Batu Road, Chinatown, Jalan              Parlimen, Jalan Ampang, but it will depend on pricing and the hotels offered by the group prices we get.
